Imagine you're sitting in the studio with those four guys, Ron, Dirk, Stig and Barry as they work on the greatest song of all time: "Cheese And Onions". I mean, the power of the song would just envelope you as those words come out of Ron's mouth...
I have always thought in the back of my mind...Cheese and onions.
My god! What words! No one, not even Bob Dylan could write such lyrics that not only move you, but send shivers up your spine. I think the word spine-tingling might have been created just to describe this song. Then, when Ron starts spelling out the words! WOW!!!! It's like nothing we will ever hear again. It's songs like "Cheese And Onions" that make me disagree with the saying that the Rutles were a legend to last a lunch time. I think they're a legend that will last for eternity.
